Brandt Galloway

Brandt has been with Galloway Chandler McKinney since 2007.  He began his insurance career in 2002 with Travelers Insurance Company.  After spending five years underwriting large construction accounts, he joined Galloway Chandler McKinney as a producer.  In his current role of Partner, he is responsible for production and agency management. Brandt has been committed to the community since his return to Columbus.  He has served as President of the YMCA board of directors and Main Street Columbus and is currently Vice Chairman of the Golden Triangle Development LINK.  He and his wife, Martha, are active members of First United Methodist Church.  They have been blessed with two children, Lizzie and Ben.  In his free time, Brandt loves to ride bikes, play golf and tennis, hunt and fish.  An occasional thrill-seeker, he also enjoys scuba diving, sky diving and has completed two Ironman triathlons.

Steve Swedenburg, CIC

Steve is a Partner/Producer for Galloway Chandler McKinney Insurance. He has been with GCM for 30 years. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He serves as a Commissioner and Chairman for the Lowndes County Soil and Water Conservation Service and has farmed locally for 37 years. Steve enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing and tennis. He lives in Columbus, MS, and has been married to Mary Margaret Phillips Swedenburg for 27 years. They have three sons.

Cecil Vaughan Jr., CIC

Cecil is a Partner/Producer for Galloway Chandler McKinney. He has been with GCM for 33 years. He has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Cecil serves on the board of directors and the executive committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi and is the current Chairman of the association. Cecil enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing and reading. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dora Strickland Vaughn, for 37 years. They have three children and three grandchildren. Cecil and Dora live in Columbus.

Paula Britt

Paula is a lifelong resident of Columbus, MS, and attended East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi University for Women.  She has over 20 years of accounting experience and joined the Galloway-Chandler-McKinney family in 2018, as the staff accountant.  Paula has served on the board of directors for Bethany Christian Services and has chaired many of Bethany’s fundraising efforts.  She has one son and loves to spend her time with him and the rest of her family.

Amy Eairheart

Amy has been a part of Galloway-Chandler-McKinney since 1992. She received her insurance agent’s license in 1996 and began working in the personal lines department. In 2013, she made a change to commercial lines and now enjoys servicing the insurance needs of some of the top businesses in Columbus. She and her family live in New Hope and enjoy being an active part of that community. She loves to travel, Jeep ride and do anything outdoors. Insurance has been a major part of her life for more than 25 years, and she feels blessed to be a part of the GCM family.

Renee Gibbons, RHU

Renee is a Registered Health Underwriter with more than 30 years’ experience in the life and health field. She, along with the rest of the life and health staff, supports Galloway Chandler McKinney’s commitment to providing exceptional service for our clients. Renee is active with the Northeast Mississippi Association of Health Underwriters and has taken additional educational courses to supplement her area of specialization.

Tiffany Hildreth

Tiffany is in the accounting department at Galloway Chandler McKinney Insurance. She has been with GCM since May of 2016. She is originally from Vernon, AL, and currently lives in Columbus. Tiffany has been married for more than six years and is mother to two young boys.

Heather House

Heather is from Columbus and has been in the personal lines department since 2018.  She has two boys, Eli and Brayden.  Heather enjoys spending time with her family, taking trips and spending time outdoors.

Candace Jordan

Candace joined the Life and Health team at Galloway Chandler McKinney in August 2018.  She is licensed in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance, with more than 14 years of experience.  Candace is thankful to be a part of the GCM Team and is committed to providing excellent customer service for our clients.

Danielle Lloyd, PCL, CISR

Danielle has been in the insurance industry since 1990.  She received her Property and Casualty License in 1997 and Certified Insurance Service Representative Designation in 2006.  Danielle has sold and serviced accounts for both personal lines and commercial lines.  She has worked in commercial lines since 2000 and strives to meet all clients’ insurance needs giving them the peace of mind they deserve.  Danielle has been married to her husband, John, for more than 29 years and has one son, Ryan.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Judy Lofton

Judy is a Customer Service Representative for commercial lines. She graduated from East Mississippi Community College in 1975 with a business degree. She began her insurance career in the summer of 1975 with Hopkins Insurance Agency and obtained her insurance license in 1983. She serviced both personal and commercial lines of insurance. In 1988, Judy started her tenure with Galloway Chandler McKinney specializing in commercial lines. She is married to Cecil Lofton, and they have three children and five grandchildren. They reside in Kennedy, AL, and enjoy country life.

Lana Pugh

Lana is a lifelong Mississippi resident and an alumna of Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005.  She has been in the insurance industry since 2008 holding licenses in property and casualty and life and health since 2009.  She married J.J. Pugh IV in 2007, and they live in Macon with their daughter Allie and two dachshunds.  When not at work she enjoys horseback riding, photography, sewing, crafts and reading.

Chris Rhett

Chris joined the GCM team in September of 2014. Prior to that, he had run a successful Alfa Insurance agency for 5 years. Chris works to provide his clients with exceptional service in all areas of their insurance needs. He considers each client a personal friend and gets no greater satisfaction than helping them in their times of need. He is thankful for the opportunity to work in the insurance industry day in and day out. Chris and his wife, Lucy, have three girls – Evans, Emma Jane and Kate.  Away from the office, he enjoys kayaking, scuba diving, fishing, hunting and attending his girls’ sporting events. He is a member of Fairview Baptist Church and the Kiwanis Club of Columbus.

Heather Rutherford, CISR

Heather started working in the insurance industry in May of 2014, joining GCM in October 2015. She is a Certified Insurance Service Representative and is a Customer Service Representative for commercial lines. She and her husband, Carl, have three children – Levi, Leah, and Carly. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and being outside.

Will Taylor

Will was born in Charlotte, NC, and moved to Mississippi at the age of 12.  He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology services. After college he went to work for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and later at many other government agencies.  He came to work for GCM in 2015 as our Systems Administrator.  Will received his first degree black belt in Shotokan Karate in 2016.  He has one child.

Sherry Thomas

Sherry has been with Galloway Chandler McKinney Insurance since July 1996.  She serves as Office Manager.  She graduated with a business degree from MUW in 1986.  She is active in the Association of Women Accountants and is currently serving as President. Sherry is married with one child.  Her hobbies are camping, cooking and reading.

Donna Tilley

Donna is the receptionist at GCM and the smiling face that greets customers when they call or visit. She lives in Ethelsville, AL, and is married and with one daughter. She has worked in Columbus for 35 years, 15 of those have been with GCM.

Maeghan Tilley

Maeghan joined the GCM family in 2014, and currently works in the crop insurance department.  She serves as the president of local insurance social and educational nonprofit organization, Columbus Insurance Professionals. She is a Lowndes County native and lives in Caledonia with husband, Josh. Upon graduation from Mississippi University for Women, she worked in its Office of Admissions as an undergraduate admissions counselor. She and her husband have two children, Hardy and Hayden, and live on a small farm where they enjoy gardening and horseback riding.
